These Are The 14 Victims Killed In The San Bernardino Shooting

This is truly terrible.
On Wednesday, authorities saiddisgruntled Health Department employee Syed Farook and his wifewere responsible for a terrible tragedy in San Bernardino, California that killed 14 people and injured 17 others.

Officials say the married couple —armed with assault rifles — opened fire at Inland Regional Center, where county employees were holding a holiday gathering.


Now, the San Bernardino County Coroner's Office has released the names of all the people who sadly lost their lives in the horrific event.

The victims are:
Robert Adams:
R.I.P.
A family friend says Robert was an environmental health specialist who married his longtime love, Summer. He is also survived by their 20-month-old daughter, Savannah. He was 40 years old. A fundraising pagehas been set up for his family.

Isaac Amanios:
A relative says the 60-year-old worked for the SB County Health Department and was "an amazing father, brother, an amazing everything." The family member explains he leaves behind his wife and three grown children.

Bennetta Bet-Badal:
R.I.P.
crowdfunding page reveals that Bennetta came to America from Iran at 18 years old, after the Iranian Revolution. The mother-of-three was a health inspector for the county, and was giving a presentation at the Regional Center on the day of the shooting. She is survived by her husband, Arlen Verdehyou, and three young children.

Harry Bowman:

Harry was from Upland, and was 46 years old. He leaves behind his two daughters.
Sierra Clayborn:
R.I.P.
A relative confirmed to People that Sierra was one of the victims of the horrible attack. She had been working for the county's environmental health department for two years. Her sister took toFacebook to grieve, writing:

"I just found out the most horrible news of my life! My sister Sierra Clayborn was killed in the San Bernardino shooting. RIP Baby sis I love you more than you ever knew. You were taken too soon. My heart is broken. I am completely devastated…"
Juan Espinoza:
Juan was a county health inspector. He was from Highland, and was 50 years old. He is survived by his wife and two children.

Aurora Godoy:
Aurora was from San Jacinto, and was 26 years old.
Shannon Johnson:
According ABC7 Los Angeles, Shannon had worked as an environmental health specialist for the past decade. The Los Angeles native was 45 years old.

Larry "Daniel" Kaufman:
R.I.P.
Larry Kaufman — who preferred to be called Daniel — ran the coffee shop in building 3 of the center. Almost a full day had gone by before his boyfriend, Ryan Reyes, learned that Daniel had been killed in the shooting. The 42-year-old considered himself a free spirit and loved horror movies.

Damian Meins:
R.I.P.
Damian worked for the San Bernardino County's environmental health department. Before that, he worked at the County of Riverside for almost thirty years. Juan C. Perez, director of Riverside County Transportation & Land Management Agency, emailed employees about the 58-year-old's tragic passing, writing:

"I will always remember Damian as a caring, jovial man with a warm smile and a hearty laugh."
Damian is survived by his wife and two daughters.
Tin Nguyen:
Tin was from Santa Ana, and was 31 years old.
Nicholas Thalasinos:
R.I.P.
Nicholas annual employee party was always held at the Inland Regional Center. He was one of Syed's co-workers. His wife, Jennifer, revealed that her late husband never had anything bad to say about the suspected shooter, telling the New York Times:
"He had worked with him. He had talked about him. Nothing negative."
She says her 52-year-old love was a Messianic Jew and very religious.

Yvette Velasco:
Yvette Velasco was a health inspector from Fontana, and was 27 years old.
Michael Wetzel:
R.I.P.
Michael was a father of six children. The 37-year-old was also survived by his wife, Renee. A YouCaring pagewas created for his grieving family following his untimely passing. Michael loved children, and spent 7 years coaching youth soccer.

The Los Angeles Times also listed the names of five of the injured victims: Patrick BaccariKevin OrtizDenise PerazaJennifer Stevens, and Julie Swann-Paez.
